LATEST UPDATE: While Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has relaxed its indoor mask requirement, at this time, CSUN plans to maintain indoor mask requirements for all students, faculty and staff, regardless of vaccination status, throughout the spring semester.
Former CSUN President Jolene Koester has been appointed by the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees to serve as the system’s interim chancellor. The board chose Koester to succeed Joseph I. Castro, who resigned as chancellor in February.
